About the Company:



Your Name: Jessica Ziegler (Story Tot CEO, Founder, Creator)


How you chose your business name: I actually had a spreadsheet with different elements of what the biz was about (stories, tales, kids, kiddos, child, etc) Then I combined the bits into interesting names and did URL searches. I didn't want a name that I couldn't get the url for!
How long you have been in business: since Jan 09, books were in development all of 08.


Why you created this business: I had read about on demand publishing a few years ago, had the idea for highly customized storybooks, but sat on the idea for a few years until my son was older and in preschool. I wanted to expand on my interest in illustration and graphic design. I've be a web designer for 10 years now so I was able to create and launch the whole biz without outsourcing any of the work, which as most mompreneurs will tell you is the only way you can pull it off!



My Review:



Well, my daughter being the AVID monkey lover that she is, well I was able to get the Catch Those Monkey's Book for her. She loved the book! She loved how she was the main character in the book and most of all, it will be a great book to stick away into the memory box for her own children to read when that time comes.



I was impressed with the quality of the book. It was made as well if not better than some of the books that you see sitting on the store shelves. The time from production to delivery was super awesome! I never expected it to come to my doorstep as quickly as what it did, but it was there in less than 10 days! I already know what I am doing this year for Christmas, books for everyone I know!
